Nimarta started her career in a top Bangkok advertising agency, where she impressed her clients so much that she was asked to jump the fence to the client side. She made the jump, moved to Singapore, and spent the next few years in blue-chip FMCG company, Unilever where she grew the Cornetto brand double-digit year on year. She was then offered another jump — this time across the ocean — and found herself in Sydney where she continued working for Unilever and later joined a leading marketing and business strategy firm. During that time she helped clients like Mercer and Mad Mex solve their trickiest brand and marketing challenges. She was also handpicked by the CEO and flew to Canada to help build Sony Pictures’ strategy.

To complete her marketer’s ‘toolbox’, she took up a role at Australia’s leading retailer Woolworths, where she was given the impossible challenge of marketing products with no unique selling point, no competitive price point, and almost no brand awareness. She faced the challenge head-on and achieved growth for all the brands she worked on.

After being trained by the leading minds in the marketing world, Nimarta now runs her own marketing and strategy consultancy, where she helps businesses articulate who they are and who they serve. It sounds simple, but it’s this level of clarity that makes the companies she work with, stand out.
